Renaissance Festival in Tampa

Come one, come all to the Ren fair. Where we dress in fine gowns and eat like Kings and Queens. Or like Knigths and ladies. Gypsies and Fairies?
Anyway it's a magical time with many sights and sounds.

My favorite part of the fair is the shopping market with tents that belong to different artists that traveled far and wide to be at the festival. One tent featured dragons!
Dragons in books!

Steampunk dragons!
And Steampunk hearts!

With pretty journals!

Including the Tardis!

This particular fair had a hippocamp swing! This reminded me of my story.
I met Daenerys!
And I conquered the throne of swords!
Where my friend and I met Snow White, Ariel and Princess Leia ^_^
It was a lot of fun, and there were so many cool costumes!
We even saw an Ent!

All in all it was a fun trip!

Epcot Flower and Garden Festival

Spring is in the air, especially at Epcot where flowers and plants rule!

The shrubberies are the first thing you notice, and the ducks lead the way:

Fantasia surprises await near the Land
The dancing mushrooms
The ostriches
And Sorcerer Mickey of course :)
Beside the Fantasia shrubberies, there is a butterfly pavilion
The butterflies will show you the way.
Each in bright colors.
Before the World Pavilion we see Farmer Mickey
Chip and Dale
and Minnie and Pluto!
All around the World pavilion are Disney shrubberies and fun food to try.
France was my favorite. With Beauty and the Beast
And a delicious Dark Chocolate Raspberry Macaroon!

But Japan's Frushi was a close second. They had sushi made from coconut rice, strawberries and pineapple. It was amazing!
Italy had Lady and the Tramp.
And England had a charming tea garden.
Including Uncle Iroh's favorite Jasmine Green tea ^_^

the crocodile

Peter Pan

Winnie the Pooh and Friends
Including Tigger! :)
Canada had Bambi :)

Africa had a beautiful Lion King shrubbery set.

Along with Timon and Pumba.

Beautiful flowers were everywhere.

And some fun merchandise :)

All in all the Epcot Flower and Garden festival was beautiful, delicious and fun :)

Star Wars Week!

This week, Star Wars came to Walt Disney World, and I had to celebrate!
My friend worked on this movie, and I'm so excited that she got to be a part of such an epic story!
My day started with a trip to Disney Springs, where I do most of my blogging, and I had to wear my Star Wars flair.

Starbucks celebrated the ocassion with three themed drinks. I tried them all through the course of the week:
The Green Master Frappuchino was a green tea blend with matcha. It was pretty good.
The DarkSide Frappuchino was a chocolate mixture- so it was probably my favorite except:
The Strom Trooper Frappuchino had a drawing of a Storm Tropper on it.

They played Star Wars Music all week! It was a nice break from the daily Christmas music that I heard every day at work.

To celebrate the release, I went to the Launch Bay before work. It was my second time visiting, but I was on a mission. I needed to see a certain Wookie . . .

He liked my dress and got very excited when I told him it was in honor of his best pal Han Solo. He also liked my BB8 cup.

The Star Wars Launch Bay itself is pretty cool. There are displays from all the movies:

And you may run into a few familiar faces . . .

Watch out for the Storm Troopers. They'll stop you in your tracks . . .

The Jawas will also try to steal you away.

There are young Jedi everywhere . . .
And some are even brave enough to fight the Dark Side.

You can build your own droid: here's mine D2M2

You can build your own space ship too.
Here are some of my favorite picks for merchandise:

To finish my week, I finally saw the movie, I was blown away!

I also encountered the Dark Side on my way out.

All in all, I believe that the force was strong with my adventure, and it will be with yours too!
